Liwa al-Fatah al-Mubin was a Free Syrian Army unit active in eastern Deir ez-Zor governorate. Formed in late 2013, it was based in the countryside surrounding the border town of Abu Kamal. In contrast to some other brigades in the area, it was an early opponent of ISIS' increasing aggression, working closely with the Authenticity and Development Front. ISIS overwhelmed the group and was in control of the Abu Kamal area by mid-2014. The brigade's surviving fighters fled to other parts of the country and joined other groups. In DATE TBD, amid an FSA offensive into Deir ez-Zor, the fighters reconvened and Liwa al-Fatah al-Mubin reformed itself to take part in Abu Kamal's liberation.
